Exotissimo Travel is one of Asia's leading Destination Management Companies handling customers from travel agents and incentive houses from all over the world including France, Germany, Spain, Australia, USA and other European countries. Our office in Bangkok currently has a vacancy for the position of Incentive Manager Thailand.

The incentive manager is responsible for managing all staff in the incentive department who are handling the requests and files for incentive house and companies organising incentive tours for their staff / clients. The incentives department handles every aspect of the file including sales and reservations and ensures it is successfully operated. The incentive manager is a very important person in our organisation as he / she is the key contact person for our partners and is responsible for ensuring that all the services we promise are delivered as promised. The incentive manager is part of the Exotissimo Thailand management team.

Responsibilities:

• Answering and checking quotations to send out to incentive house around the world and to our sales offices.
• Supervise the quick reaction to the requests and pay a strong attention to the follow up of quotations / files
• Brainstorming / creating new ideas and adapting current programs to specific incentive requests
• Assisting and advising in the operations of all MICE tours for Exotissimo Thailand
• Go with the client during the inspections trip and the group stay
• Working with the Marketing Department on Marketing Incentive Travel to oversea tour operations.
• Create and maintain specific MICE databases (programs and prices) and implementing the use of Tourplan software for the incentive Department
• Training and briefing of guides on the incentive travel programs.
• Developing Exotissimo Thailand's incentive business by researching, contacting and selling to prospective clients.
• Negotiating with suppliers and hotels.
• Reporting on all above activities to the General Manager.
• Make sure that Exotissimo's standard procedures are used at all times and that requests are being answered in time
• Keep oneself informed about all tourism related issues in Thailand
• Perform any other duties requested by the management

It is essential you have a pleasant out-going manner and creative ideas. You must be good an excellent problem solver and be good at dealing with people and difficult situations. You should have a minimum three years experience with an Asian based DMC in a similar position and have an understanding of the complexities of this important job.

• Profound understanding of western culture and client expectations (expatriate)
• Min 3 years experience in a similar position (Mice) at an Asian travel company
• Good written and spoken English and French language skills
• Good computer skills (word, excel, outlook)
• Good attitude, hands-on experience, hard working, with the ability to work as part of a team.
• Excellent sales and strong and negotiation skills
• Communication skills including reporting
• High degree of customer service and satisfaction
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
• Ability to work as an effective team leader and excellent interpersonal skills
• High standard of personal conduct and presentation
• Detail oriented and thinking out of the box
